How to change the disk size of a virtual machine?

To increase the disk size of a virtual machine:

  1. In the Cloud Control Panel, go to the "Virtual Machines" tab, select the desired VM

  1. In the features of the virtual machine, go to the "Hardware" tab and in the "Hard Disks" section specify the new disk size. 

  1.  Further configuration is performed at the operating system level (see article for Windows, article for Linux).

 

To reduce the disk size of a virtual machine:

  1. In the features of the virtual machine go to the "Hardware" tab and in the "Hard Disks" section, click the "Add" button, if necessary, edit the size of the created disk.

  1. Next, it is proposed to transfer data to this disk (see article for Windows, article for Linux).
