Creating a machine from vmdk disk, exporting to OVF

To create a machine and export to OVF, we suggest using VMware Workstation Pro

From the File menu, select New Virtual Machine:

specify the type of configuration - Custom:

The equipment version is 11:

At the stage of adding a disc, select Use an existing virtual disc:

After creating the machine, select Export to Ovf from the File menu:
