How to provide access to virtual machine services via the Internet?

Providing access to Virtual Machine services is done by means of external IP address/port translation to internal IP address/port of the virtual machine (Edge gateway destination NAT).

  1. On the Datacenters\Networking\Edges tab, select the desired Edge Gateway, and click Configure Services.

  2. On the NAT tab, click Add dNAT. Fill in the following fields in the opened window:

Applied On: The external interface where the rule (inet_user1) is applied.

Original IP: Gateway external IP address (You can find out from this hint)

Protocol: TCP/UDP

Original Port: The external port on which the service will be available

Translated IP: The internal IP address of the virtual machine

Translated Port: The internal port of the virtual machine on which the service accepts connections
