To migrate VMs from vCenter to vCloud, you need to plan to locate the vCloud Connector Server and vCloud Connector Node in the same pattern:
To install vCloud Connector Node, you need to create a new machine based on the template of the same name from our public directory. After booting the machine, a window will appear where you should click Enter in the login field and change the default VMware password for the admin account, also the link to the web interface for node management is underlined in the figure:
The node management web interface is located on the same site as vcenter. You need to register as shown:
In the web interface, to manage a node located in vCloud, you need to register with vCloud Director by first publishing it to EDGE:

In the web interface of vCloud Connector Server, it is necessary to register the server in vcenter:
Add a node located at the same site as the vcenter by specifying vcenter administrator login\password:
Add a node located in vCloud by specifying the login, password of the administrator of the organization:
If the registration in vcenter was successful, the vCloud Connector icon will appear in vsphere:
In the vCloud Connector interface, you need to add previously configured nodes using the Actions menu:
To migrate the virtual machine, turn it off. Then choose Copy from the Actions menu:
Follow the wizard's instructions to select a target cloud, a directory to cache the template in, and the deployment options:
